<strong>Growing Up in Digital Europe (GUIDE)<\/strong>, is the first longitudinal and comparative study aimed at providing statistical evidence to support social policies for the <strong>well-being of children, young people up to the age of 24 and their families, detecting stability and change in well-being by studying changes in their living conditions in European societies<\/strong> through repeated data collection over time.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" class=\"w-text-value\">Objectives<\/span><\/span><\/h3><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The GUIDE survey aims to study changes in the well-being conditions of children, young people up to the age of 24 and their families, in order to support dedicated social policies. The populations to be analysed are made up of families with children aged between 6 and 18 months (infants&#8217; bracket) and families with children aged 8 years and over (children&#8217;s bracket).<\/p>\n<p>In Italy, the GUIDE survey, integrated in the FOSSR project, will take place in four specific regions: Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Campania and Apulia. The research design also envisages, for the children&#8217;s age group, the involvement of Comprehensive School Institutes and their School Managers who, after having joined the survey, will act as mediators to activate a contact between the pupils enrolled in class III of the primary school in the 2024\/2025 school year, their families and the GUIDE research team.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row us_custom_2e605341 height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><h3 class=\"w-text us_custom_cfada43f has_text_color\"><span class=\"w-text-h\"><span class=\"w-text-value\">Description of the service<\/span><\/span><\/h3><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>GUIDE collects information on a sample of <strong>1,300 households, of which 650 households with children aged 0-1 years and 650 households with children aged 8 years and older.<\/strong> The questionnaires collect information on different subject areas.<\/p>\n<p>For the realisation of the GUIDE survey it is planned to administer three separate questionnaires according to the characteristics of the respondents. The questionnaires for parents\/guardians of children aged 0-1 years and for parents\/guardians of children aged 8 years and over consist of a common part and a specific part, which depends on the age group of the children, to which are added the sections on self-completion of the questionnaire, evaluation of the questionnaire and the interviewer&#8217;s comments.<\/p>\n<p>The common sections for the parent\/guardian questionnaires are as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left style_circle color_primary align_left no_title\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-icon\" style=\"font-size:1rem;\"><i class=\"fas fa-people-arrows\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox-meta\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-text\"><p><strong>household<\/strong> (composition of the household);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left style_circle color_primary align_left no_title\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-icon\" style=\"font-size:1rem;\"><i class=\"fas fa-id-card\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox-meta\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-text\"><p><strong>socio-demographic data<\/strong> (marital status and relationship, nationality and citizenship);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left style_circle color_primary align_left no_title\"><div conditions<\/strong> (level of education, employment status, family-work balance, deprivation and income);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left class=\"w-iconbox-text\"><p><strong>housing, neighbourhood and community<\/strong> (type of housing, level of satisfaction with one&#8217;s housing, level of urbanisation of the neighbourhood);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left style_circle color_primary align_left no_title\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-icon\" style=\"font-size:1rem;\"><i class=\"fas fa-baby-carriage\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox-meta\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-text\"><p><strong>pregnancy and birth<\/strong> (course of pregnancy and antenatal care, childbirth and physical development at birth, twin births);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox us_custom_bdaafad9 iconpos_left style_circle color_primary align_left no_title\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-icon\" style=\"font-size:1rem;\"><i class=\"fas fa-baby\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox-meta\"><div class=\"w-iconbox-text\"><p><strong>child health and well-being<\/strong> (child health and use of health services, child nutrition and physical activity, child emotional health and well-being);<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-iconbox stress);<\/li>\n<li><strong>neighbourhood and community<\/strong> (satisfaction with residential
