After the debut of the first FOSSR Café dedicated to FOSSR PhD students, the second meeting took place on 21 May 2024, continuing the initiative aimed at fostering informal and concise exchanges among all FOSSR staff members.
Following contributions from some PhD students who had been unable to attend the previous session, this second FOSSR Café focused on introducing the first group of temporary staff members hired through PNRR funding (around thirty in total).
Each participant delivered a presentation themselves through an object that represents them and reflects their relationship with research, then answered the question:
“What do you expect from FOSSR?”
They shared their hopes, expectations, and the contributions they intend to make to the future of the project.
The second FOSSR Café, which saw active and engaged participation from FOSSR staff and collaborators, is part of a biweekly online event series held every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM.
Future meetings will be dedicated to the second group of temporary staff members, followed by sessions featuring Work Package leaders and the coordination, management, and administration teams.
