The FOSSR team took part in the 15th National Statistics Conference, organized by ISTAT and held in Rome from 9 to 11 July 2024, contributing several presentations focused on Open Science and data infrastructures.
In particular, Antonio Zinilli delivered a presentation the Online Research Panel (ORP), one of the key elements of WP3 – Innovation in Data Collection, aimed at improving data accessibility and transparency in social sciences.
Serena Fabrizio and Emanuela Reale (CNR-IRCrES) introduced the concept and objectives of the FOSSR project, focusing on its role in creating an integrated ecosystem of services and resources to strengthen research capabilities in Italy.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange ideas with national and international experts, fostering discussion on new strategies for managing and sharing data in the social sciences.
FOSSR’s participation in the conference further consolidates its position as a key player in promoting Open Science in Italy, contributing to the country’s active involvement in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) framework.
