Today, the second meeting of FOSSR’s Strategic Management Committee took place. FOSSR aims to create the first Italian Open Cloud dedicated to the social sciences.
During the meeting, Infrastructure Manager Marco Sprocati presented the project’s strategic guidelines, emphasizing the importance of participation from all members.
The main focus was on data FAIRness, open science, and sustainability. Sprocati invited members to contribute their vision, outlining a collaborative and inclusive perspective for FOSSR’s future.
FOSSR’s mission is to become an open and accessible infrastructure, building a future where access to resources is open, fair, and sustainable.
In doing so, FOSSR is preparing to play a key role in shaping the landscape of social science research in Italy, promoting innovation, sharing, and sustainability through the creation of the Open Cloud.
