The FOSSR Policy Learning Platform (PLP) service aims to provide policy makers, public bodies and researchers with a digital tool for the ex-ante evaluation of public policies.

Policy Learning Platform (PLP)

Objectives
The PLP platform enables the impact of new policies to be predicted, the targeting of beneficiaries to be optimised, and alternative scenarios to be analysed, promoting data-driven decisions.
Service description
The Policy Learning Platform (PLP) is a web application distributed and hosted on the FOSSR cloud infrastructure.
The service allows users to upload datasets (CSV or Excel), select policy models from three available options, and perform predictive assessments using machine learning algorithms.
The results are displayed interactively, offering alternative scenarios and optimal targeting tools.
The system is secure, scalable, and easily accessible even to users who are not programming experts, thanks to a user-friendly graphical interface and comprehensive documentation.
To whom it is addressed
The PLP service is addressed to:
- policy makers and local or central administrations interested in ex-ante evaluations of public policies.
- researchers and academics in the field of social and economic sciences.
- public and private institutions wishing to improve policy design and implementation through predictive and analytical tools.
