FOSSR and ESFRI Research Infrastructures in the social sciences, humanities, and cultural heritage

What role does the FOSSR project play among the European Research Infrastructures in Social, Human and Heritage Science?

This was discussed on January 22 and 23, 2025, during two in-depth days organized by the Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage (DSU) of the National Research Council (CNR) at the CNR headquarters in Rome.

The two-day event was well attended by a large audience interested in the strategic role of these infrastructures and the range of expertise, resources, tools, data and advanced services they make available.

It was also an opportunity to present the progress of the FOSSR Project, expounded by Giovanni Cerulli, and to illustrate the contributions of the infrastructures of which FOSSR coordinates the Italian nodes, through the speeches of Sonia Stefanizzi (CESSDA), Antonio Zinilli (RISIS), Guglielmo Weber (SHARE), Letizia Mencarini (GGP) and Giulio Ecchia (GUIDE).
