“What can you bring to FOSSR?”
This was the question that guided the fifth FOSSR Café, held on 2 July 2024, which featured the participation of several Work Package leaders, along with numerous researchers, technologists, and PhD students.
Each speaker shared their own perspective, reflecting on how their expertise and experience could contribute to the growth and development of the FOSSR project.
The discussion highlighted the importance of interdisciplinarity and collaboration among teams working in different areas — from data governance and analysis to communication and capacity building.
Participants also highlighted the need to maintain open and constant dialogue, to ensure that the different components of FOSSR evolve in a coordinated and synergistic manner.
The meeting closed with a collective reflection on the value of community as a key element for promoting both individual and collective progress within FOSSR.
