Action Research Session “Participatory and reflexive engagement to co-define the impact of FOSSR research services”, May 15 e 28 2025, CNR-IRCrES (Rome)
Based on an innovative methodology developed at CNR-IRCrES by Erica Rizziato, the session brings together participants and the FOSSR team in a co-generative process aimed at producing useful knowledge and strengthening the transformative capacity of services through critical reflection and collaborative dialogue.
The second FOSSR action research session, which will take place in two meetings, one week apart, is aimed at offering a space for collaborative work to FOSSR service developers teams, reseachers, stakeholders and potential users (extended community) for the impact improvement of a selection of FOSSR services, identified among the most representative and in an advanced stage of implementation, and presented both in terms of the process followed for their construction and their results.
The FOSSR services in focus will be: IOPP, ORP, VRE, Ontogenia, Poolpo, which will be introduced in detail before and during the session.
FOSSR Action Research Sessions, offered among the different types of training to support the research community, is an innovative format where participants are guided to explore the critical issues they experience in their work and to co-generate change paths with FOSSR.
FOSSR proposes these action-research sessions to co-generate knowledge and raise awareness on:
- how to enhance social science infrastructures with respect to the needs of researchers and stakeholders and the critical issues arising in their activities;
- how the services and methods offered by FOSSR can be exploited by researchers and stakeholders to generate social impact.
Participation in the Action Research Session is free of charge, with a limited number of places (max. 21 participants); applications can be submitted via the form: https://l.cnr.it/fossr-action-research-2025-registration-form by 8 May 2025 (notification of acceptance is expected the following day).
