23 October 2023
The much-anticipated Open Access and Open Science Week 2023 began today in Genoa, taking place from 23 to 28 October. The event is organized both in-person and online, offering a unique opportunity for participation by experts and enthusiasts in the field.
On 24 October, FOSSR will play a key role in the session titled “Research Data as a Resource and Common Good.”
Alessandra Maria Stilo from CNR-IRCrES will present the contribution “FOSSR: A Cloud for the Social Sciences – Open Science and Advanced Data Management in Italy.”
The work, also curated by Serena Fabrizio, Emanuela Reale, and Andrea Orazio Spinello, explores topics related to data openness and management in the context of social sciences.
This fifth edition of GenOAWeek is dedicated to the theme of the International Open Access Week 2023: “Community over Commercialization.”
It serves as an opportunity for discussion and reflection on Open Science — a practice that is increasingly vital for conducting high-quality, efficient, transparent, and reproducible research.
